One of the resources that is at the URL that Carolyn lists is found at <https://library.alaska.gov/hist/parham.html>. It was originally compiled by Bruce Parham (a really nice guy) when he worked at the National Archives in Anchorage, Alaska, before they moved the records back to their Seattle location. I notice that the page was last updated on 14 Jun 2019, so the links should be fairly current. The article focuses on finding individuals from the Gold Rush era.
