Flag Day is this coming Sunday, 14 June 2020. Many of the traditional parades, etc. associated with this day have been canceled due to COVID, but here are two ideas for you to celebrate this great symbol of our freedom:

 

  1. Want to know when you should fly your flag at half mast? Subscribe to the Flag Alert text notifications. First, text Flag to 534466. You will receive a text asking for a valid email address for the two-step authorization. Once that is complete, you will receive the text alerts.
  2. Want to share the meaning of the flag to your kids or grandkids during this COVID pandemic? Download the FREE 2020 Flag Day Speech put out by the American Legion by clicking https://www.legion.org/publications/160983/flag-day-speech
