I am taking a break from this because I am so confused with the words etc. I see on that index " Fait a' Gand, le Dix___ Fructidor"- Made in Gand, the 10th__________ Fructidor, year ten. But Maria Stevens is on image 192 and it says frimaire. Fructidor has 1795 dates while frimare has dates of 1794. ugh. Back to Dutch.. Carolina's birth record had 30 words to describe the person who registered her birth.. I had to laugh.. Carla
