I need a translation of the baptismal record located here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS1W-9SS6-B?i=291&cat=107758

The index has two listings for baptisms on this date, one for Joannes and one for Jasper (?). I believe the parents are Cornelius Van Slambrouck and Jacoba Dehondt. Is this the baptism of twins? Thank you! Meg

Yes, these are twins. You can see 4 godparents: Jasper Pauwels, Jacoba Van de Casteele, Joannes (can't read) and Joanna Van Slambrouck.

    Bonjour @Meg Stadtler

    Yes, they are indeed twins.

A small detail which is important to me, the first name of the first born is Jasparus (nominative declination which is not used correctly by the priest)

    Best regards - Paul-Marc
