Translation:
Hans Paurenfeindt from Dietersgrün, a ___ ___ soldier, was married to Anna, daughter of Salomon Hilpert from(?) Brandt, after previous proclamation semel & semp(?), on New Year's Day after the evening sermon in a large gathering.

Thank you both! For what it's worth, the researcher I paid in Röslau gave me a brief translation that said Hanß was a "newly recruited" soldier. I haven't been able to work out just how soldiers were "recruited" in that region during the 30 years war. Thought they were conscripted. At any rate, this exchange today surprised me, I didn't realize this post was still active. You folks are awesome!

The Grimm dictionary on Wörterbuchnetz has the following word: neugeworben = newly recruited.
Could the word before "Soldat" be some form of "neugeworben" based on what your researcher told you about Hanss being a "newly recruited" soldier?

Possibly - it should be neugeworb(e)ner in this context. I can't see a 'b', but the quality of the picture is not perfect.

Robert, the fellow who did the work in the Pfarramt Röslau registries only gave the "newly recruited" info, no transcription. He is also a very difficult person to communicate with. I've tried on more than one occasion to ask him a simple question and get no response. He is the only person the parish secretary allows to handle their registers apparently. She is quite easy to communicate with, and seems genuinely interested in helping out, but it really feels like a good cop / bad cop situation. I've given up with them for several months now, will try again after the holiday season. Maybe they will allow their records to be digitized and released sometime in the future. The registries from Marktredwitz were previously unavailable. There are now a LOT of files accessible on Archion, only recently. Hoping for a similar result in Röslau. And thank you for sharing, I will try to find out more about Hanß the soldier as best I can.
