Legitimization record? Törten, Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt - 1870
Hello!
The 1865 marriage record below (from Archion) of Wilhelm Kilian and Henriette Otto appears to have a note added at the very bottom stating that Henriette (who was illegitimate) was legitimized? Is that how you would interpret this note? Is there a resource for accessing this document? Thank you!

The note is: Legitimization see page 70, No. 1(?)
So the legitimization notice should probably be in the same book on page 70.

Hello @MHendersona2
The note translates as: Legitimization see page 70, no. 1.
Check page 70 in this same register to see if the legitimization is recorded there. If the records are divided between births/baptisms and marriages, check page 70 in both registers.
Good luck with the search!

Thank you, Robert! (And thank you, again, for pointing me to the town of Törten that brought me to this record set).

Thank you, Ulrich!
From the guidance from you and Robert, I was able to find the legitimization record in the same record set. I was hoping it was for Henriette Otto - and would tell me who her father was, but it was for children Henriette Otto had with Wilhelm Kilian. Still very interesting to me.
