    I have a 3x great aunt who was born on 6 August 1798 in Norr Hagstugen, Lännäs, Örebro, Sweden. Her parents are Lars Olofsson (Olsson) (b. 22 December 1754) and Maria Larsdotter (b. 9 June 1761). I found through a later Household Examination record that the father Lars died in 1814. Could not find a death record for him though.

    Maria's brother Lars Larsson is my 3x great grandfather. I have a birthdate of 17 March 1800 in Lännäs, Örebro, Sweden.

    I am having a difficult time finding birth and death records for this family. I did find this family in the Lännäs Parish (A I #6, Sida #187) household record for 1801-1805.

    It looks like they may have had an additional daughter Stina ?? but there is no birth date or birth record listed for her and she is crossed out. I'm guessing it could have been 1802 but ????? I've also listed the next person Olof (10 October 1804) as a son for the family; but can't seem to find any other information for him.

    These 3 children Maria, Lars and Olof are listed in a couple of household examinations.

    Any help would be appreciated for this family. Would especially like to find further information for the children.

    It looks to me like Stina and Olof are shown as foster dotter and foster son. There aren't any birth or death records in this parish from 1757 to 1823, as far as I can see, so you're out of luck there.

    Sveriges dödbok shows Olof died 10 February 1852 in Vagnhärad, Södermanland, and that he was married at the time he died (no date given). Also shows he was born in Lännäs.

    Lars died 5 November 1853 in Lännäs. He was married on 27 December 1832.

    Maria changed her name to Maja. She married on 28 May 1858 to someone named Olsson, and died on 14 September 1862 in Lännäs. If it were me, I'd check to see if that was a second marriage.

    Thanks Lisa for your reply. I do believe that Maria Larsdotter (the mother) was married once before she married Lars Olofsson.

    I'm surprised how many records are missing in this parish. 🙄

    Lännäs Al:4 page 156 in Norra Hagstugan she came from Fasttorp soldattorp 1794, haven't located that yet.

    After her first husband Per Ersson dies 1790 in Finland, most likely during the Finnish war that ended 1790 between Sweden and Russia, they had 3 children together. She remarried as you know. She stayed in Norra hagstugan till she died in 1836. You can find her in every book from Al:4 to Al:13 in Norra Hagstugan
