Public account: the GEDCOM uploads to the PRF

Hi.

I uploaded a GEDCOM file without any problems from my Member account, and got a CET. When I do the same from my public account, the GEDCOM uploads to the PRF. I used the same GEDCOM, but different file names. I access FS from Norway. Is it me, my location or issues with this new feature that is causing this problem?

Question: what is the difference between a 'member' account and a 'public' account? Is the 'member' account an LDS account with temple privileges? I've just never heard the distinction before.

Yes, that is right, and that is what they are called in the FS account system.

If you look through other posts here, you can read that the transition from being a lab experiment to a general release is being done through a gradual roll out. Family Search has often done this with new features in which they gradually increase the percentage of users that have the new feature. That you can only access the CET feature from one of your accounts but not both, suggests that the roll out is based on account and not necessarily on country. I assume your other account will be able to access it soon as long as the roll out does not reveal unexpected problems that require halting the roll out while they are fixed.

@Anne-Kathrine Henriksen Thank you for testing early access CET and providing feedback. Currently, a gradual rollout of CET is taking place. Not every user will have full access to CET until the rollout is completed.
