Hi Wendy, There are two baptisms for a Barbara Roberts born in Llanferres, Denbighshire, one in 1788 and the other in 1790 both were daughters of John Roberts and his wife Barbara. Presumable the first died and I believe the second is likely your Barbara.
There is currently a man named Thomas Roberts assigned as Barbara's father, though there is no evidence to support that relationship. Perhaps you know more about that.
I believe you'll find that this is Barbara's death record, and the informant conflated her birthdate with that of her husband, leading to the age discrepancy. I went ahead and attached Evan Parry's death record and also the record of the family in the 1841 census. There are two girls living in the household, Elizabeth and Margaret Parry born 1841, that might be interesting to look into. Elizabeth is living with siblings Arabella and Robert in 1851 and is listed as their sister, but there is a significant age gap between Elizabeth and Margaret and the rest of the children.
In case you weren't aware, I can also tell you that Evan Parry was a miner according to daughter, Arabella's marriage record.
Hope that helps.
