Hello,
I'm working to find a source to document the parentage of Tomasz Peplinski, 9JW4-F49. I have a marriage record, but see no parents on that record.
Is someone able to help me find such a birth/baptism record? I would appreciate it!

It might be entry 150, 20th December 1827, here (Image 700 of 870):
The fathers first name is difficult for me to read but the surname, child's name and Mother's name seem to match.
Edit to add: The fathers name appears to be something like Adalberti which matches the first name of the father in Thomas' brother Nicoleum's baptism record in 1824
Thomas' parents were married 27 Jan 1824 (his father's birth or baptism date seems to be recorded)

There is some question about Adalbert's birth date written in as 8 April 1785 on the 27 Jan 1824 marriage record. First, it is not consistent with his stated age of 30 years on the same record. Second, the Adalbert who was born 8 Apr 1785 apparently died 8 May 1787. The 1785 baptism and 1787 death are both attached to Adelbert Peplinski GDFK-P2K so you can compare them there. They appear to be the same child.
Your Adalbert should have been born around 1794 if he was 30 in 1824.

I was looking at this record today; it is very hard for me to read, although I can tell that my person (Thomas) is listed in the row with 150. I can see his parents listed there, too.
I am confused; the film lists the years as 1827-1838. The index lists the baptism of Thomas to be 1881 and his birth year to be 1827. Where in the actual entry does it list his actual baptism year? Is there an error in the indexing? Is this a record of baptisms?
Also, is there a way that my email can notify me of responses made on my communities groups like this one?

For notifications click on the grey circle with a silhouette to access your profile and click on Account and Privacy Settings. Scroll down and click on Notification Preferences. There will be a list of possible occasions that you can check for notification. Checking the right column (under the tray icon) will send an email to you when that occasion happens. If you put a check by "new answers to my question", "new comments on my posts", and "I am mentioned", then you should receive email notifications when someone responds to your posts.
Regarding Thomas' 1827 record. It is a record of his baptism as well as his birth. In the far right column of the left hand page it gives his birth as happening on the 20th of December at 3 o'clock in the morning. The far left column of the right hand page records his baptism as the 23rd of December. The year isn't recorded on this page. Two pages later when the December entries have ended and the January entries start the year is written in as 1828 for the new year. Going back to image 691 of 870 is the start of the 1827 baptisms. At the top of this page it says 1826/1827 because some of the births were in December 1826 but the baptisms occurred in January. For some reason the scribe lined through this page and restarted the 1827 entries on image 692. This page also says 1827 at the top.
The indexing definitely has an error for the baptism year for many of the entries in 1827. I have no idea how they got the baptism year as 1881 since they got the birth year correct as 1827.
