On the page to upload a gedcom it says, "Information shared within a [Controlled Edit Tree] may only be accessed and used by Controlled Edit Tree members; FamilySearch does not process such data for its own purposes." I don't think the first part of that statement is accurate, since if you make a CET public, the information can be accessed (but, of course not edited) by others.

I would like to suggest that section be re-worded.

Also, wouldn't it be helpful for everyone if FamilySearch used the information in public CETs for hints in other CETs and the community family tree?

    Thank you! I used to be able to add one name at a time to Family Search, but I can’t even do that now.
