Please help with the translation of this death record. it mentions Catharina Gierlak, while Adalbertus Srodon's mother is Agnes Gierlak. Maybe I have the wrong record or made an error? Thank you, Mattie.

Note-I realize that the source of this record is from a tree with a very close branch to mine, but this is not the same family line. I thought I just getting the translation wrong. Thanks.

Marriage Record, Czudec, Nowa Wies, Roman-Catholic Parish, dated 21st January 1811, of Adalbertus (Wojciech in Polish) Środoń, a bachelor, 26 years old, and of a maiden, Catharina (Katarzyna) Witkowna (daughter of Witek), 19 years old. Witnesses: Sebastianus (Sebastian) Czarnik and Stanislaus (Stanislaw) Gutkiewicz.

Birth Record, Czudec, Roman-Catholic Parish, of Adalbertus (Wojciech in Polish) Środoń, born in Nowa Wies on 10th April 1788, son of Andreas (Andrzej) Środoń and of Agnes (Agnieszka), born Gierlak, mother. Godparents: Laurentius (Wawrzyniec) Koziol and Agnes (Agnieszka) Mlyczkowa, wife, farmers.

Death Record No. 12, Czudec, Roman-Catholic Parish, of Adalbertus (Wojciech in Polish) Środoń who died in Nowa Wies, House No. 67, on 14th November 1858, buried on 16th November 1858, Czudec Catholic Cemetery, he lived 74 years, cause of death ordinary, at death he left his widowed wife, Catharina (Katarzyna), born Witek (in this record erroneously written as Gierlak), he was a farmer.

Please be aware that the death was usually reported by neighbors, who tried to recite what they were told about the deceased. In this case it looks that they gave the maiden name of mother of the deceased instead of the maiden name of the wife of the deceased. In this MyHeritage entry it is correctly written that deceased Wojciech Środoń was married to Katarzyna Środoń, born Witek.
