Hello, my great grandma’s family was Fry and her grandfather came from Switzerland too. Do you have full names of your ancestors and places where they lived ?

Here is what I have:
Now there came a man by the name of Martin Fry whom they named Hans Martin Fry, who is the head of the Fry family of this tribe. he came from Berks County (Pennsylvania) and had come to this country as records state in the ship "Myrtilla" (named after a Grecian goddess Venus), Saturday September 23, 1765. Captain James Cayton was the pilot steering or rowing the boat to the port of Philadelphia. There also was a man by the name of Heinrich Fry on this ship but where he went or landed is not known.
Originally the home of the Fry was in Switzerland Canton Argon and Friburg having been the ancient cradle of this race or tribe. In the town of Friburg there are records that were found to be correct showing that they extended four hundred years back as found by my brother's son Miles Fry, when going to school in Basel Switzerland.

Please let me know if you would like more information. I am a descendent from the Hans (John) Martin Fry, who was a miller and a farmer. He came to America in 1740.

As far as I could, I am a descendant of Jean Baptiste Fry born around 1792, but I have no knowledge of the place of birth. He was a carpenter and lived in Brigels in the canton of Graubünden near Chur with his wife Maria Monica Tenner.
I only know of 2 boys Jacques (Jacob) Mathias Fry born on February 18, 1823 and Placide Fidele Fry born around 1825. The 2 brothers left for Paris but I have not been able to find more information about Placide Fidele Fry since the marriage of his brother in 1857.
