Last Benefit/Last Residence does not equal Place of Death

Mary O'Brien Spitz PQ7R-XJZ died 15 May 1981.
The only record of her death currently attached to her profile is from the SSDI.

The SSDI does NOT include place of death, only last residence or where the last benefit check was sent.

DQS is calling out an error between her place of death as listed on the profile and the SSDI. This should not be.

    @Áine Ní Donnghaile

    This problem is a larger problem than just quality score, and it is currently not something we can fix.

    What has happened is that the SSDI records are being used in the system as a death record, and while it is evidence of a death, it's not a true death record, as you have pointed out.

    Moving some of these records out of the death record category has larger implications and is unlikely to change in the near future.

    We will definitely keep this in mind and hope that it gains priority in the future.

    Thanks again!

    It is evidence of death, but not of place of death. That's the issue with the call-out of a conflict in place of death. I have no problem with it being used as evidence of death, just not for place.
