The person the arrow is pointing to: I interpret this entry as: Eric Andersson born in Elfsio = still birth? So, you would list the birth date and the death date as the same 7 June 1709? I had information for this child but wanted to find the source document that would verify it. Was Elfsio a village, farm (croft)?

Thanks for your great help! Susan K. Richards

The record you are asking about reads "Erich Andersons barn i Elfsiö. dödfödt" which translates to "Erich Andersson's child in Elfsiö. Stillborn". So the child's name is not given in the record-only that the father is Erich Andersson.

The website GAMLA ORTNAMNSREGISTRET ( https://gamlaortnamnsregistret.isof.se/ortnamn.html ) lists Elvisjö as a village ("by") in Börstil parish.
