What about a spreadsheet on Google Docs?

I am using Google Docs. The data output requires a lot of manipulation to make it effective for actually scheduling classes. We are registering for 19 classes and polling what is the best days of the week, and times of the day they are available for training. It also gathers contact information. Do you have a Google Doc that has been used for scheduling that has readily useable data?

Yes! We use a tool called Doodle, it is online, you put in the hours and days, and then send the link to everyone. They can select a day, or not, and it will give you a good look at what is he best for the majority! We use this for meetings and team stuff all the time!
they don’t need an account, they just sign enter their name, and depending on how you set it up, they can choose yes, only if absolutely necessary and noon each time.
it is a great tool!

I use Google Forms for several different tasks. You could create the schedule there with check boxes or multiple choice items and You can see inputs on a spreadsheet updated in real time. See https://www.google.com/forms/about/

Scheduling software like ScheduleOnce or Acuity Scheduling might help. I think most have a free version.

Do you have an example of how the signup sheet is set formatted to collect the data and how the data is reported to you?

I don’t have one right now, but, if you send me your email address, I will create a shell for you to modify and use if you are interested.
