Wawrzyniec Schneider and Uliana Mrosek
Hi, I'm looking for information about Wawrzyniec Schneider and Uliana Mrosek, my sixth-generation great-grandparents. Mrosek appears to be a surname of Czech origin. Their children were Johanna, Josef, Marianna, Jan, Antoni, Jan, and Simon Schneider. It appears they raised their children in Łuków, Rybnik County, Silesia. Their eldest child was likely born in 1780. Information about siblings, birth dates, and parents of Wawrzyniec or Uliana would be appreciated. I am wondering if there is a connection to Austrian 'Crownlands' in Czechia here.
Best regards, Brian

Sorry this took so long to reply to, but I just had surgery. Did any of the family come to America? Would you post the immigrant?

My Father, Gerd Edwin Paul Kaess (1947-1972) came to America in 1965. But please note he is at least 4-5 generations 'down the ladder' so to speak on the tree from the above pair. Mrosek appears to be a Czech name, but my dad was born in Germany, although his mom Dorothea 'Doris' Dorschke (1922-1951) was born in Silesia (present-day Poland). Her original surname, Drozdzok, was of Polish origin.
