No tagged sources for sex.
Frequently many indexed sources fail to provide a gender. The sex in these cases is inferred by the given name in the source. When the Data Quality Score flags the lack of tagged sources the Quality Score is decreased. When the flag is dismissed the DQS score is adjusted accordingly. Perhaps too much emphasis is placed on the tags for gender or lack thereof.

You can also get rid of the quality flag by tagging the birth record source to the sex since that record is where that inferred information came from. Just because the source linker doesn't tag it, that doesn't mean you can't.
