Röthenbach BE - baptisms - 1698-1711 - Stucki - 6 children
In the Germany Research Group the following question had been asked:
Please translate christening records #6 - #11 on middle of left page to the bottom which begin with parent names Hans Stucki and Barbara Neuwenschwander. Are the six children christened (Hans, Michael, Magdalena, Niclaus, Barbara, Steffen) all children of Hans Stucki and Barbara Neuwenschwander (as the indexed information lists different parents who I believe are erroneously taken from witness names)? Were these children all born and christened in Eggiwil but recorded in Röthenbach im Emmental for citizenship purposes? This record is from the Röthenbach im Emmental, Bern, Switzerland church log 1684-1728.
All children have the same parents - the Taufzeugen (witnesses) are different.
