I found the coolest listing of school children in Poland in 1926!
I bumped into this when I was looking for information on Polish research. My friend's family came from Poland, but after the wife died in the 1918 flu epidemic, they went back to Poland, leaving two teenage sons in Chicago. I thought it was so cool that so many school children (5.5 million) had participated in this and wondered if the brothers who went back to Poland with their father were listed. Maybe your family is listed too!
Polish Declarations of Admiration and Friendship for the United States, 1926
From the Scope and Content page:
Volumes seven through thirteen contain signatures of faculty and students of secondary schools, and volumes 14 through 109 include those of grammar and elementary school students and faculty arranged primarily by administrative district. An index to the elementary school districts appears in a separate descriptive guide to the collection compiled by Zbigniew Kantorosinski.
See also the Contents List for the different areas of Poland that each volume comes from.

This is really amazing! I am going to see if I can find some great-aunts and great-uncles. Thanks for sharing @AnneLoForteWillson.
