My Grand-uncle is

Johann Grau Male 26 June 1885 – Deceased•GTSH-V9G

I found a record for him in 1887 in the Evangelical Lutheran Church records in Mar’yampol’ on film # 004220165 Record #55 Image No. 922. I'm not sure what kind of record it is or what is says, but his name is listed. The boundaries changed between Poland, Russia and Lithuania, but I believe it is in Polish or Russian or Lithuanian. I have attached his confirmation record which lists his birthdate as above so I am puzzled by what this is. I would really appreciate having this record translated.

    Translated from Russian:

Death Record No. 55, Marijampolė, Lithuania, Evangelical-Lutheran Parish, of Johann Grau, who died on 9th May 1887, death reported on 10th May 1887, died in Biala – Krinica (Krynica), gmina (district) Ludwinow, registered in Krasniany, gmina Kirsna, born in Prussia, a farmer in Krasniany, he was 62 years old. At death, he left his widowed wife, Elisabeta, born Schpis (Szpis, or Ilpis). Death reported by August Betner, a sheepherder in Ludwinow, 32 years old, and Friedrich Bliks, a blacksmith from Marijampolė, 34 years old.

Please also check for free in Familysearch.org center in your neighborhood the entries for Johann Grau in MyHeritage - in Eastern European area, born about 1825, possibly listed with a different wife, there are many entries. If you could find his marriage record to Elisabeta in Lithuania/Russia it may give the names of their parents, they both could be widowed at that time.

You may use link typeitRussian and type some letters phonetically in English, others not available in English, use the Russian keyboard, then you may use GoogleTranslate Russian to English. Enjoy your research.

Thank you so much for your translation, I don't believe it's the ancestor I was looking for, but I am checking on the suggestions you made to see if he is another relation.

I also appreciate the helpful link - typeitRussian.
