Jakobine Kristine Jakobsdatter married Ole Knudsen Liedal on the 10 December 1860 at Trefoldighet Kirke, Trefoldighet, Kristiania, Norway. Her birth year is listed as 1833 from Vänersborg, Sweden and her father is listed as Jakob Johansen. I found a Jacobina Christina born on 14 November 1833 at Vänersborg. Attached is the URL. Could this be the birth record of Jakobine Kristine, and how can I find the names of the parents?

    @Diane M Anderson

    Jakobina was born illegitimate (oäkta). The record states that the father and the mother were not indicated, despite detailed questioning. Probably the midwife, who is named as a sponsor, made the notification to the pastor, but refused to name the parents.

    The Swedish form of Jakob Johansen would be Jakob Johansson. There is one person with this name in the Vänersborg register, born 18 Feb 1812: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0046350_00180.
    He can be found in the household record together with his family here: https://community.familysearch.org/de/discussion/178898/swedish-translation-request#latest:~:text=https%3A//sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0046350_00180.
    However, there is no evidence to suggest that he is the father of Jakobina.
