First Marriage Bann, Gmina Białków Kościelny, Civil Records Office, Powiat (District) Konin, Wojewodztwo (Region) Kalisz, the Priest acting as an officer, dated 16th January 1825, posted on the doors of Gmina House, the promise of marriage between Jan Bogumil, 25 years old, born of Erdmann and Anna, born Klemmin, married couple Geisler, living in Police on a farm, and of a maiden, Anna Chrystyna (Krystyna) 18 years old, daughter of Jan and Justyna, born Jeschen, married couple Schultz, she is also living in Police with her parents. This Marriage Bann after it was read, it was posted on the doors of Gmina House.

On 23rd January with the above listed persons, we published the second Promise of Marriage.

Both parties request that we proceed with Marriage Ceremony, the Marriage Banns for which were published, the first on the 16th, the second on the 23rd January of this year (1825), both in town, at noon. When no impediment detected and the parents give permission for this marriage, we agreed with their request, and after we read the above-mentioned documents, and the Civil Code, we asked the future spouses if they wanted to be united in marriage, and each one of them responded that such was their will. We announce, therefore, in the name of law, that Jan Bogumil Geisler and a maiden, Anna Chrystyna Szulc (or Schultz) are united in marriage union, which we recorded in the presence of Gotfried Geisler, 36 years old, Gotfried Taschner, 34 years old, from Biala, and Fryderyk Kobliski, 22 years old, from Police, all farmers. I see the name Bogumil Geisler on the right hand page, the third paragraph. I am not sure if the first two paragraphs of entry one are included in the marriage record for Gottlieb Geisler. It continues to the following page. It does seem a bit strange. Thanks @Loujane Rodgers
