    Death Record No. 49, Sompolno, of Andreas Prietz who died in Półwiosek on the 25th February 1869, death reported on the 25th February 1869, a settler from Półwiosek, he lived 63 years, born in Nikiel (or Nakielno) Mit Holendrof (?), in Prussia, he was son of Wojciech (Adalbert) and Anna, born Rychter, married couple Prietz, settlers who died there. At death he left his widowed wife, Rozyna, born Domke, he left one son from his first marriage to Anna Dorota, born Dusterhoeft, and two daughters, from his second marriage to the above-mentioned Rozyna, born Domke, he left five sons and three daughters. Death reported by Adam Zims, 53 years old, and Jan Zims, 50 years old, both settlers from Półwiosek.

    Thanks so much @Eppich Maria ! This is my 2nd great-grandfather. He was born in what is now called Nekielka, what the German-speaking settlers called Nekla Hauland. I was able to see Nekielka on my recent trip to Poland! It was very beautiful and emotional. Your help in translation was instrumental in my journey to figure out where some of my ancestors lived. I can’t thank you enough.
