Peoples page in Memories
This is a really useful page as it gives an instant record of all ancestors and is an easy way to click onto their details. I do not understand the reasons for considering removing this.

I agree. The work we do in Temples and in research is all about the people. Do I have accurate information? Have I collected all the appropriate documentation? Have I collected stories and photographs about the person? Thinking that we can get rid of this feature/capability seems completely out of sync with what we are trying to do in the Gospel… Lost Sheep, Find the One, etc. If there is anything we should be doing is enhancing the people page and creating a page that allows us to quickly and easily confirm we have done all we can to capture the individuals life and complete their ordinances.

I have often used the people pages, I will really miss it if it is gone. It has enabled me to share memories of people I knew that I otherwise wouldn't have thought of.

The memories page is my main page. I use it all of the time when I wish to add documents or photos relevant to the person. I don't need to go searching. I think it should stay.

Thank you for providing feedback on this important topic.
I did want to clarify….Memories is not going away. All users will still be able to upload and view Memories.
It is only the "People" and "Find" pages that have temporarily been turned off…they are found under the top header of FamilySearch, click Memories, and you will see "People" and "Find"….those are the only two pages being worked on.
Thanks again!

Keep the people page. For new users this is a great way to introduce memories to them. "Look at all your relatives that have memories!" It is far more comprehensive than the fan chart view of memories at it only shows 7 generations of direct ancestors. I vote to keep this page!!!

Please keep the People page. I have wanted for quite some time to be able to trace back my ancestors without much luck until now. This is such a treat to be able to actually see what they looked like. I don't see what would be gained by taking it down.

Thank you for providing feedback.
We are logging all responses from this group. They will be shared with the Memories Team. We truly appreciate the time you have taken to share your thoughts.
If possible, could you share any more details about what you enjoyed most from either the “People” or “Find” page, or any improvements you might like to see?
