    Translated from Russian:

    Marriage Record No. 48, Sierpc Parish, dated 25th November 1884, of Piotr Ratke (Ratkie), a young man, farmer living in Modrzewie, son of Jan Ratke and of his wife, Regina, born Retz, he was born in Budy Maluszynskie, he is of Evangelical-Augsburg faith, he is 27 years old, and of a maiden, Jewa Reze, daughter of a farmer, Friedrich Reze and of his wife, Christina, born Proch, she was born in village Cisse, she is of Evangelical-Augsburg faith, she is 16 years old and lives in Cisse with her parents. Three Marriage Banns published in this Church. The oral permission of the father of the bride was granted. No prenuptial agreement. Witnesses: Piotr Dazev, 31 years old, and Pawel Proch, 51 years old, farmers, the first living in Osówka, the second living in Blizno.
