Latin ? Translation request - 1840 Polish marriage record
Hi. I finally started to uncover my Polish heritage after being brick-walled for years in that branch of my family. All my Polish ancestors so far come from the Galicia/Krakow region.
I found this marriage record of Andrzej Zając and Regina Piechnik (2nd page). I managed to decipher the actual bride and groom info with lots of difficulty and the help of AI. But not even AI can help with the bottom part (probably about the priest) starting with "consensus dominii…". And I cannot read it at all.
Anyone able to transcribe/translate that part for me?

My best understanding of this section is that it is stating that date that something occurred (17 January 1840) and that it was recorded as entry number 5/8 in 1840. I'm not sure what 5/8 refers to, since other entries list this number as 39/8 or 11/8.
The rest I believe to be pretty uniform as it appears after every entry. I'm not sure who Joannes R. P. Colentinas is, but I can tell that it says the witness of Cajetan Hruschkan, the parish priest of Szczyszy, was recorded.
