If you look at this tree https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/pedigree/landscape/PSJK-ZQW/

You will see that there are two James Elliot's both have the same birth date and place and I even added the same wife. It let me add it without any error. When I look at the Person page for both James's there is no indication that they could be duplicates.

There needs to be clear indication that this is a duplicate.

    @SmithWendy1 Welcome to early access CET and thank you for testing the product and offering feedback. Have to attempted to add the wife "Ann" (PSJV-VCM) to PSJV-YKD? Would you try that and attach a screenshot showing it is allowed or it is not? Thank you

    @SmithWendy1
    Relationships play a huge role in our matching algos. The parents and children are different. With the dates being goofy (person added is born before his parents), it is not terribly surprising that this didn't generate a high confidence score as a possible duplicate.

    @SmithWendy1 Thank you, @Robert Kehrer for explaining the dynamics that relationships play in determining "duplicates".
