Unwed Parents in FamilySearch Tree

Good afternoon! I am an adoptee and trying to build my family tree on here to better comprehend my connections etc. I have Ancestry, as well. My biological parents weren't married. I have half-siblings on my father's side. The trouble I keep running into on my family tree here on FamilySearch is:
- it keeps telling me I've a missing parent because I've had to list my bio parents separately in the "set preferred parents" tab. It lists them as "Father Name & Unknown Name" and "Mother Name & Unknown Name".
- sometimes it will try to include my sibling under my bio-mother's name as her 2nd child, but my sibling has a different mother.
- when I choose to view my tree with my bio-mother as the preferred parent, it no longer shows my sibling — which honestly makes me incredibly sad… is there no way to have both these parents listed in a family tree format without having to choose between viewing my mother and my sibling??

Could anyone help me? I'll try including photos of my Ancestry Tree and Family Search Tree to try to better explain. Thank y'all in advance.

@Lala2785 What you ask for is not possible in FamilySearch Tree. It is a very complicated coding and it is not something that is planned for the future. However, you do have some options about how you want to view your tree. Remember that living individuals cannot be seen by anyone other than yourself, so you can set it up however you want to view them.

Even though your parents were not married, you could put them both into the same parent-child relationship with you. This still would not show your half-siblings on your father's side unless you linked them as step-children to your biological mother. You could see those half-siblings if you linked yourself into your father's family and linked yourself as a step-child to his wife.

If none of these options really show what you want to show, you can simply continue to view that formatting in Ancestry.com.

1st. I agree with the previous statement. If you choose to put your parents in together there is a place to put that they were not married. I think this will accomplish what you want. Life can be complicated.

@WKathleenM4 Great comment. Can you provide a screenshot or directions on how to make that note?
