Quality indicates Czechoslovakia did not exist in 1898 yet the birth records state that is where they were born. No alternate suggestions were made. Hungary and Austria were tried and that triggered a discrepancy from the record attached.

Or at least what is the particular place in Czechoslovakia?

To touch on some basic principles:

The quality checker compares not the displayed place name on the profile but rather the the standardized place value (as found in the Places Database: https://www.familysearch.org/en/research/places/ ) linked to it to the place names in the sources and to the date of the event the place is for. The Places database will one day contain all the major variant place names used and the significant (that is longer than 5 years) historical time periods with their significant jurisdictions for every spot on earth of a useful size (that is, for example, cities, not streets). It's a massive project that will take a long time to complete.

This means that sometimes we are left to make a choice. Use an anachronistic place name and have the quality checker complain about the dates or use an accurate place and have the quality checker complain about the name because it is comparing the correct place name to an incorrect or anachronistic name in a source. In either case, you can just dismiss the flag if you are happy the profile is correct.

Here is a list of all the places within Czechoslovakia in the Places database: https://www.familysearch.org/en/research/places/#filters=%5B%7B%22type%22%3A%22search-within%22%2C%22reqParents%22%3A278%2C%22primaryText%22%3A%22Czechoslovakia%22%2C%22directChildrenOnly%22%3Afalse%2C%22selected%22%3Atrue%7D%5D

Checking the first one on the list: https://www.familysearch.org/en/research/places/?focusedId=6060841 there is no historical time period prior to 1918. You can use the Improve This Place Name link on the right hand side of the page to request that earlier time periods be added.

The second name on the list: https://www.familysearch.org/en/research/places/?focusedId=3406725 does have an enry for prior to 1918 and places it in Hungary. It that is not correct, you can request using that same Improve This Place Name link that that be corrected.

But still, if the source uses an incorrect place name (such as Czechoslovakia for any place prior to 1918) there will always be a discrepancy between it and the correct information on the profile that you can just dismiss.
