    Translation Request

Thank-you for contacting me. My spouse's Father's line is from Germany/Poland/Ukraine. We have very little information for this Family Tree. My spouse is (name removed), born (date removed) in (location removed).

I have received two items of information from someone in Germany that is working on our family line but I am unable to translate it. He states the items are from the Poznan Project website

    Item #1 is: https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/skan/-/skan/32c48d648eec367a5121e8c4b2233547733ab04edc9f1a997a1b37b0ae8d1c97

The above link I have been told is in Russian Cryptic Script (?), but appears to be from Poland. It is the birth record of my husband's first cousin three times removed. August Giering (G6V1-XBL) , born Oct. 7, 1848 in Zakrzyn, Kalisz, Wielkopolskie, Poland. I think it is item #88.

Prazuchy, Nov. 3. 1839 Father: Christian Giering, colonist in Zakrzyn, 35 y. witnesses: George Schulz, 38, colonist in Zakrzyn and Johann Friedrich Lucius, colonist in Zakrzyn, 26 y.* in Zakrzyn on Oct. 25 of Justine Janott, 22 y. name: August godparents: George Schulz and Friederike Giering

Could you confirm that the information is as stated above please?

    Item #2 is:

    https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/skan/-/skan/72d6b003ef43a72f917b3a9e5a074d950e37fec787219deff338141269cfe085

I think the above link is the marriage of August Gering (G955-HRB), my spouse's great grandfather and not the same August as above in the birth record. This August was born October 25, 1839 in Zakrzyn, Kalisz, Wielkopolskie, Poland. His wife is Justine Emilie Schmidt (G955-DWV) born 1839 in Kuźnica, Ceków, kaliski, Woiwodschaft Großpolen, Poland

The marriage occured on Nov. 11, 1863 in Prazuchy witnesses have been Johann Friedrich Lucius, tenant in Zakrzyn, 49 y. and Gottlob Schinschke, tenant in Prazuchy, 40 y. groom August Giering, tenant in Zakrzyn, 24 y., born there, son of Christian and Gustine/Justine Janott, residing in Zakrzyn

Could you confirm the above information is as stated above please?
