Duplication
Hi, I noticed just looking at my grandfather that he has a different Family Search ID to the original record that I have put in there years ago.
I am guessing therefore that this will happen with my whole file, how will this be synced with the previously held information and not create a whole heap of duplications, I have 128962 names in my gedcom

The CET is a separate tree, which will soon be capable of sharing info back and forth with the main public collaborative FamilySearch Tree, but the CET is its own separate entity, it is not supposed to be joined with the main FS Tree. The point of this feature is for it to be its own tree just for you, and/or those you trust with access.

@TaniaKatieMahoney15 thank you for testing early access CET. As @J Purkaple explained, CET is a completely separate tree from FST. Each person in each tree has its own unique PID. There is no duplication of persons in either tree. A feature will be added allowing you to easily copy information and data from the PID of a person in one tree to the PID of a person in another tree (FS Tree; Family Group Tree; and CET).
