Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. I went from the Berlin station in Dresden Friedrichstadt to Berlin. At 10:30 a.m. I was there, up to here it cost 7.20 marks third class. At the Anhalter station where I arrived in Berlin I had to take a 2nd class cab to get to Lehrter station, where I continued my journey, this cab cost 1 mark. At this station I had to wait until 2 p.m. for the train to Bremen; the ticket to Bremen cost 13.69 marks. When we arrived at Bremen in the evening 10:45 p.m. we had to go down a staircase in the station, and there we came into a large hall, where everyone was sorted according to their hotel tickets. There were only two people on the train going to Himbeke(?), me and a young man.
