Translation Request
This is a screenshot of three baptism entries for three brothers done as a group on the same day. I can understand everything except the wording on the far right where godparents are usually listed. This is from old German Lutheran church records from Philadelphia. I noticed that several other baptisms of unrelated people had the same wording for godparents so I know it is not names. Could it be an abbreviation for grosseltern?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @BarbaraCurran5,
In the first and second records the words on the right are: "die Eltern" = the parents.
In the third record the word is: "Eltern" = parents.

Thank you! I did not realize parents could also be godparents of their own children.
