    Hello @JayBarth,

"Muhlbach" belongs to the record below your record of interest.

    A few very minor edits:

    Transcription:

    Marriage: 3

Place of marriage: Niederhaußen; Niederhausen 3) a/d Appel

Place of Residence: Windesheim; Windesheim Hunsrück

Name: Jakob Wagner Küfermeister von Windesheim mit Catharina des Friedrich Heinz von hier eheledigen Tochter ?Muhlbach?[does this belong with this record or the record below]

    Proclamation: 3. mal [correct]

    Day of marriage: d[en] 24ten April [1785]

    Translation:

    Marriage: 3

    Place of marriage: Niederhausen.

    Place of Residence: Windesheim.

Name: Jakob Wagner Master Cooper from Windesheim with Catharina the legitimate daughter of Friedrich Heinz from here. ?Muflbach?

Proclamation: 3. mal = three times

Day of marriage: the 24th April [1785]

My comment: There are two places called Niederhausen which are close to Windesheim:

https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20315038 which is 12 miles from Windesheim.

https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20315042 which is 8 miles from Windesheim.

However since the indexing states this record is from Niederhausen an der Appel, I would assume that this is the correct Niederhausen.

I don't believe either of these distances would preclude the couple from having met and married in 1785.

You're welcome, @JayBarth. I edited my initial response just as you were replying so be sure to look at the edited response where I say that I believe the correct Niederhausen is "Niederhausen an der Appel".
