AI Research Assistant found names that may add to your tree
Can the AI Research Assistant give more warnings that the record might not match your relatives information well and that a person should reject the suggestion. The warning is there, but not strong enough. Some records, like census records need very close scrutiny and sometimes much deeper research to decide if they should be attached to a relative in the Tree. This is especially true with very common names in localities where the name might have been used by many families of the same surname at approximately the same time. I ran into this problem with a cousin with the name of Elizabeth Hodgson, born in Leeds, Yorkshire, England in about 1835. She married Thomas Buck, and their are multiple census records for different Thomas Bucks as head of household, wife Elizabeth Buck in Yorkshire in the same census year. It will take some deeper research to figure out which census record belongs to my relatives. I consider myself an intermediate user, with some experience. I think others, including beginners, will jump to add individuals and records to their tree without doing the deeper research. Does the AI Research Assistant make it too easy?
