From your experiences, how common was it for such mistakes to be made in the parish records?
I would say it was not common, but it happened. Another possibility is, that Eva Rosina's father actually had two names and for some reason the more unusual one was used here.

Your transcription is excellent. I can't read the last word either; it seems strange that the name Tesmer is mentioned again after "Tochter".

The last word looks to me like "erlaubt" = permitted. It might make sense in this context if the daughter was under-age for marriage. You'd have to look at other entries to see if this was used elsewhere.

Thank you both for those insights.
As a side note… this marriage record is bothersome to me because I've documented most of the Tesmer family in Smilowo and surrounding villages. There is only one "Eva Rosina" or "Euphrosina" born about the time implied by her age in the record and her father was "Georg", not "Michael".
The fact that you transcribed "mittelsten" for me is helpful because "Eva Rosina", dau. of Georg in Smilowo, born 1809, was indeed his middle daughter. That, plus the fact I cannot find a Michael in Smilowo who had a daughter "Eva Rosina" makes me think the person who entered the record in the parish registry might have made a mistake with the father's name.
