Hello everyone,

I am looking for any help finding the ancestors of Anne Marie Christiansen (her FamilySearch ID is 2H23-5YF). The only things I know about her are what I have learned on FamilySearch which isn't much. If anyone has any info they would be willing to share thank you so much in advance! I have no clue where to even begin to search for ancestors.

This is what I (think) know of her:

born- 20 Feb 1831Copenhagen, Denmark

died- 25 Jan 1918 Arnold, Cluster, Nebraska

She was married to Peder Hansen Pedersen (b 16 Nov 1826 d 11 Mar 1898). They had at least one child named Clara Matilda Peterson (b 28 May 1871 Denmark or Germany d 1 Mar 1913).

Looking at FamilySearch, the only errors I see are with two of the children. Carl (GQ2R-4Q1) and Sofie (GQ2R-XGZ) do not appear to be children of this specific couple. They have different parents that just happen to have the same names.

I traced Anne's life prior to her marriage a little bit, she has a tricky family! It appears that in 1850 she lived with her stepmother and her stepmother's husband (Karen Pedersen and Michael Schaurøg)

    1850 - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QL6D-6K69?lang=en

Her father Christian Christiansen died in 1841 - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L94Q-P9S9?view=index&action=view&lang=en

This appears to be the marriage of Christian Christiansen to Karen Pedersen in 1834, meaning her mother Ane Marcusdatter died between 1831 and 1834, not sure where.

    1834 - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L947-X98L?view=index&action=view&lang=en

I believe this is Christian's marriage to Anne's mother in 1830, but it's hard to be sure. There doesn't appear to be a solid connection between this marriage and Anne's birth record in 1831 except that it was in the same general area.

    1830 - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-894W-DF44?cat=177571&i=160&lang=en&cc=2078555

I did not have any luck tracing this backward yet, but maybe this helps you learn a little more about Anne. She was pretty young when both parents died. I believe the next steps would be to try and find the mother's death record between 1831 and 1834. Or to try and work backward from the marriage in 1830.
