Swedish marriage translation, Högsäter Parish, Älvsborg, Sweden 1692 and general advice!
I am searching for two marriages for Öjel Eriksson, GH2Y-3FL. He is from Stora Torp in Jerbo Parish. According to the book Järboadelyn by Gustaf Regeskog, he married Anna Olofsdotter who was from Rösäter, Högsäter. There are no marriage dates in the book for either marriage. If you look at his sources, you can read what the book says about this familly. 1692 seems late for his marriage.
I may have found a marriage for them in 1692 but I'm not sure of Öjel's name on the record or where the bride (Anna) is from. It doesn't look like Rösäter. I didn't see another possibility.

His other marriage is to Elin Hansdotter, the daughter of Hans Hansson, Nötsäter in Järbo Parish. I haven't found their marriage record in Järbo.
There are many mistakes on this family in the book, and it's difficult to pinpoint where he got the information. On page 389 of the book it says Nämndeman Öjel Eriksson. Avgick 1717. Does Avgick mean he retired or died in 1717?
Thank you for any advice you can give me going forward as well as confirming if I have the right marriage for he and Anna!

Hi @Joellen McAlister , sorry for the delay in getting to your question.
Your link above has marriages from 1693-1696-none for 1692. I am not seeing the record you are asking about.
The marriages for Högsäter for 1692 are here (pages 238 and 239 - looking in Riksarkivet): https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0046755_00141#?c=&m=&s=&cv=140&xywh=1155%2C207%2C3750%2C2295 but I don't see a marriage for Öjel Eriksson and Anna Olofsdotter.
"Avgick" means "left, went away" not necessarily "died".
Looking in the "Mantalsländer = tax records/lists" it looks like there is an Öhjell (Öjel) living at Stora Torp (Torp Stora in the book) in 1712, but he is replaced by Erik in 1713. You can see those records here:
1712 - top of page https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0003406_00404#?c=&m=&s=&cv=403&xywh=2582%2C53%2C2498%2C1529
1713 - top of page https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/A0003407_00216#?c=&m=&s=&cv=215&xywh=2417%2C16%2C2875%2C1759 . So it looks to me like he "left, went away" in 1713 rather than 1717. Usually, you would search for his death about 1712-1713, but there aren't any death records for Järbo for those years.
You can look at all of the Järbo Manstalslängder from this page:
. Just click on the green box labeled "Bild" for the year you want to look at and find Torp Stora in the farms. It is usually 1 - 3 pages into the Järbo parish section. The actual church records for these parishes (Högsäter and Järbo) are very spotty so it may be difficult to find births, marriages and deaths in the church records.
