Thank you, Maria. We didn't know that Jozef had a middle name. Wladyslaw was father's name.

We do not seem to have records for Bialystok, bacieczki, near Zawady, to locate the birth record of Jozef Wladyslaw Zarachowicz in FamilySearch Catalog. But you may contact Archiwum i Muzeum Archidiecezjalne w Białymstoku,

e-mail archiwum: lp.laibihcra@baa and they may have this record. Bacieczki Parish records might have been destroyed during the wars, but some records could have been saved in Bialystok Archdiocese Archives.

Please look at pilot.pl which is mapa.szukacz.pl, download the map, X the advertisements, go to Hotele on the right and click on Ukryj to hide all the H's which are hotel advertisements. Enter Bacieczki in the top box on the right. You will see that Bacieczki, near Zawady are now within Bialystok city.

    Hi Maria,

Thank you for this information. I will contact the Bialystok Archdiocese Archives and ask if they have Jozef's birth record. We know his birthdate from other documents, but it would be nice to see the original record. I will also check out the map. Enjoy your day!
