Searching records for naturalization document. A man named Joseph Scarpignato b. 17 July 1888, Messina, Messina, Sicily, Italy. Lived in Fitchburg, Worcester, MA. since 1916. 1920 U.S. Census shows him as an alien.1930 U.S. Census shows him as a U.S. citizen. I've searched petitions for naturalization in Fitchburg from 1904 thru 1906 with no record available.He immigrated to the U.S. in 1904 via New York City.

Looking for direction as to where to search further to find a naturalization record.

@MillikenWayneAnthony2 I'm guessing you are looking at Guiseppe Joseph Scarpignato in the family tree. If that is the case, the naturalization records you are looking for might be here. I found them using FamilySearch's full-text search. Give it a try if you haven't used it yet. If this is the wrong person, please let us know.
