Translation Request - short note on side of birth record only

Hello, I'm trying to find out what a short side note on an 1890 birth record says. The baby's name is Carlo Fanoni and the note is on the second page of the record:

    https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L9W5-6V46?wc=M7SY-R2S%3A350267401%2C350284401%2C350284701%26cc%3D2043841&lang=en&i=128

    Thanks so much!

It appears to say "seen 22 May 1890"

Thank you! I just wanted to make sure the note didn't say he had died as an infant, because I believe he went on to marry one of my distant aunts.

That note is a verification of the magistrate's tri-annual inspection of records. So it has nothing to do with this particular record.
