Gedcom uploaded with many errors
I just uploaded my gedome, Brodotsky-Chinitz, which was downloaded from MyHeritage. There are a large number of errors, with people showing as siblings when they are cousins, with the wrong parents, and with parents showing up as the children.
I am using a 2023 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M2 chip running Sequoia 15.3.1.
Thank you.

@drbking
This is something that we haven't seen before and if it does not accurately reflect the data in the Gedcom file we will want to dig in and fix this quickly.
Am I safe to assume that the file you uploaded was called something like Brodotsky-Chinitz.ged and that you uploaded it this afternoon?0 -
@drbking Thank you for testing early access CET and providing feedback. This has been brought to the attention of the engineers and we will post updates in this discussion. Will you please add some PID's of deceased persons that are incorrect with screenshots?

Here are a number of screenshots showing errors. Some details:
(Name removed) is my wife's niece. She is several generations and marriages away from the people listed as her parents. (Name removed) is my wife. She is not related to my great-aunt and great-uncle. None of the people shown as the children of (names removed) are actually their children. In addition, none of the people above are deceased. Thank you.

This screenshot is another good illustration. In this case, (names removed) are brothers and sister, not a parent relationship. The marriage date shown is for their parents, (names removed), not for (my parents).

@drbking,
Thanks for alerting us to this. We immediately filed a bug on this and have an engineer triaging the situation as an urgent issue. We can keep you posted.1 -
@drbking Because Community is an online public forum, your screenshots were removed and other information was edited. This is to protect the privacy of living people. Please see the Community Code of Conduct for more details.
However, all the information was documented so the engineers have the information they need. Thank you!

Thank you. They asked me to share screenshots. Was there a different way to do it?

@drbking, The support teams made sure that your screen shots got added to the bug so the engineers can make use of them during triaging and resolving this issue. There isn't really a better way. They do routinely remove any living data for privacy reasons, but in this case your data was captured and is valuable for the resolution.

@drbking Again, thank you for testing early release CET and notifying us of potential bugs. As @Robert Kehrer explained, this bug has been noted and given a priority. Also, thank you for the screenshots. for privacy reasons, we do not allow personally identifying information is the Community. Any living persons in your tree would fall into that category. Therefore, the information was removed from the group. In the future, if you can screenshot the record of deceased persons, it would be helpful. We will post in this group if a better solution is developed for you to provide screenshots to us. Thank you
