Help with Pietro Pavarini's records - GWPB-3W5
Good morning
I need help finding any registry in Italy for Pietro Pavarini - Code GWPB-3W5 - Born in Castelguglielmo, Rovigo, around 1865. I haven't been able to find any records from that date, neither in FamilySearch nor at Portale Antenati. Pietro emigrated from Italy to Brazil in 1889, with his wife Rosa Vigna and their children, and I found their records in Brazil, but nothing about him or his parents in Rovigo… Any help or tip on a next step I should take would be greatly appreciated.

You seem to be confused - Pietro was born around 1842; his oldest son born around 1865. In any event you won't find pre-1871 records online, they are only in the churches.

Thank you for the correction, Cousin Vinny, that's right - I mixed the dates when wrote the e-mail. 1965 was actually the birth date of his son Primo Pavarini, according to a baptism certificate picture I found. Pietro was obviously born earlier indeed. You're also right on the estimated date of 1842, since the immigration document of 1889 mentions he was 47 years old when arrived.
Any guidance you could provide on reaching out to churches? In your experience, do they typically have an online channel? e-mail? or should I try to find a phone line? Just trying to get some direction, as my attempts so far hasn't been successful.
