I just received this calling in September, I've been working on the Ward level here in South Carolina for a few years. Before that I lived in Alabama until my husband passed and was the only member that they had ever met. No missionaries have ever been in that area. I want to be able to answer questions when asked by patrons as well as have a group to ask when I don't know the answer. Which is a lot!

Cindy, I would recommend that you look at the discussion in this list titled "Website to Learn Family Search". This was put together by a Stake Leader. Has excellent information. Also seek out presentations that are shown on the RootsTech web site. Excellant training there also.
