Looking for the various spelling of the surname ROER

My friend's family is from Warsaw,Poland. David Roer born 1872 and came to the USA in 1912. His father's name is William Roer and Sarah.   THey were Ashkenazi.
Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated!

To see variations of surname Roer - enter only surname Roer and Warszawska Gubernia - you will have about 59 options of this surname. William as his father, is an English version of the name, it could be any Jewish name. Sarah or Sara would be more reliable as a Jewish name of mother.

Stevemorse.org - indexed records for Ellis Island - enter Roer - there is Justinka or Justynka (the same pronunciation) Roer from Warsaw, who came in year 1920 - you may need to sign into Ellis Island. You do not need to complete the surname or date of arrival. You may find more information about her in Ancestry.com You may see the list of similar surnames.
3. Ancestry.com - subscription site, but free in familysearch center - as you search for David Roer born 1872 Warszawa, you may find there his family tree with a number of records of his family, naturalization, etc. but no record from Poland
4. MyHeritage - subscription site, but free in familysearch center in your neighborhood. You will find there variations of Roer surnames.
5. metryki.genealodzy.pl - Warszawa Brodno - on the left Mojzeszowe (people of Moses or Jewish), unfortunately no Indexed records for year 1872, and records from Warsaw 1868-1917 in Russian alphabet.
6. Please keep in mind that Warsaw (Warszawa) was a city of over a million residents, damaged several times during the wars, and many records were destroyed, many not indexed. Jewish people lived in various "cyrkuly" districts, you may ask for their research at archiwum@warszawa.ap.gov.pl but it may be expensive and not necessarily successful.
