Immigration Records
I was trying to do a search for immigration records, using the FS "records search" function for records PRIOR to 1700. Needless to say, there aren't any. The records available on the site, don't seem to start until the 1800's. What are those of us who are looking for early records supposed to do, when THERE AREN'T ANY?

I was looking for individuals who immigrated to the East coast colonies, between 1600-1635. I don't remember who I was working on. Also, why doesn't this post show up in my discussions list?

@Jordan5L Sorry to be so short. I literally just woke up, and the brain hasn't gotten its daily supply of caffeine yet. <G>

Hello @Tammy Lynn Driver !
I'm able to see your post under "Discussions" (under Announcements) in US Federal Records. For my "discussions" in FamilySearch, I see just the number of my discussions under my profile. I have to go to the specific group to see my discussions.
Is someone in our group able to answer @Tammy Lynn Driver 's question about immigration records regarding individuals who immigrated to the east coast between 1600-1635??

There aren't a lot of records for U.S. immigration before 1820. But there are passenger lists you can check. I don't know how far back they go. You can find information about U.S. immigration before 1820 in the FamilySearch Wiki. Unfortunately, the link doesn't want to work here, so I'll tell you how to find it instead.
Go to the Search tab on the FamilySearch homepage. Click on Research Wiki and towards the bottom of the popup.
Then type U.S. Immigration into the search field and choose "U.S. Immigration- before 1820."

Thanks. It would be so much easier, if it was possible to simply go to Search-Records, then type in the info of the individual that you're looking for, then filter for immigration and naturalization records. That's how I was trying to do my search.
