Duplications have appeared from my private Family Search pedigree

When transferring from my private Family Search tree to the new Family Group Tree, duplicates have appeared. The ID numbers from my original Family Search tree have all changed for my living persons. Why did this happen when I clicked "Copy from the Family Search tree" button?

    @Puanani Strother,

    This is correct. You are making a COPY of what you have already added to your private area of the FamilySearch tree. These profiles of living individuals are not connected at all, but both can connect to the deceased individual profiles in the FamilySearch Tree. These copies that are in your family group tree will be visible to any family members that you invite to join your family group and you will all be able to add information, stories, pictures to any profile in your family group tree. Your private area of the FamilySearch tree remains private to you. Therefore, the individuals listed in your family group tree will have unique ID numbers, different from those individuals listed in the private area of your FamilySearch Tree.
