Other Relationships - Description required
I am working on an enslaved African American CET and have run into a snag.
I add an Enslavement relationship and link the Enslaver and Enslaved in the relationship.
I then Edit the Enslavement relationship and try to Add an Event. I have the Date, Place, and plan to attach a Source. A Description is required before I can save the event, which seems unnecessary for the vast majority of Enslavement relationships.
**Why is a Description required? What would be needed for this event that isn't included in the Event Type, names, date and place? Can this field be changed to optional instead of required.
At this point, I will not be adding events for most of these relationships because I have tens of thousands to enter and I'm not willing to make up something that doesn't add value or enter something redundant in order to create an event.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for all the hard work and for the opportunity to give feedback.

Workaround: Until I have an answer, I am adding only a hyphen to the Description field, which allows saving the Event.
