I apologize for asking this question again in advance. We have a number of documents that list Johannes Sidler's birth but I cannot find his baptismal document. Could someone take one more look and help me understand what I am doing wrong, because I can't find it. When all other 14 children have their baptismal documents it seems unlikely Johannes would not have his baptismal/ birth record listed. Was he born somewhere else? Did the Pastor skip him. Here is what I have: (maybe there is no answer but I thought I might dare to ask one last time)

    Houston - we have a problem !

    Not only that you don't find a baptismal record for a Johannes Sidler (and not me either), born 25.07.1777 - an Elisabeth (same parents) was baptised 20.08.1777 (day not sure - but Aug. 1777), which in some way is in contradiction to Johannes' birth (birth of a second twin can be very[!] occasionally delayed by several days - a month would be extremely unusual - and still wouldn't explain Johannes not being listed). And the parents of Elisabeths 1777 and 1779 seem to be the same (identical witnesses as well) - both sisters of Johannes.

    What I notice is that from now on the father is no longer listed as Wachtmeister (as for the children) - but this could just be a change in his position - but the Wachtmeister lived "im Feld" - now just in Ottenbach. Could it be two couples with identical names? Then we should have two corresponding marriages - which I don't find in the ZH-Ehedatenbank.

    Right now I don't have a clue ☹ !

    WSeelentag Well, this gives us something to think about. Witnesses above: Heinrich Sydler Ottenbach and Elisabetha Haug ???? from ???KG
